Skycity V8 Supercars - Hidden Valley July 2005

Wireless 2 Way was awarded the SKYCITY V8 Supercars Darwin, Hidden Valley Raceway motor race in April 2005. After 3 days of racing the event was deemed a success.

Behind the scenes:

The event, from a communications point of view, comprised of approximately
  • 300 Motorola radios
  • 80 High noise environment headsets
  • 100 Spare batteries
  • 2 Communication networks

The event was also the launch of Wireless 2-Way's new modular LTR trunking system. The radio system managed the event and the clarity can be heard on the attached MP3 audio file.

The radio system is available for rental and can support 200 radios. It is ideally suited for sporting and motor-racing events. The radio system was designed to be transportable and can be shipped anywhere in Australia.
